Learn About BMX Racing!
BMX (Bicycle Motorcross) racing is an Olympic sport that can be started at any age. Riders only compete with those of similar age and experience level, making it great for those looking to try something new. Commonly, multiple family members participate at the same event!
In BMX, no one sits on the bench!
At a CV BMX Community Ride You Can Expect
Track Walk
Open House, learn about BMX! Riders and their families will first walk the track and learn the names of features and different obstacles.
Free Ride
Riders can participate in riding the track at their own pace, on their own* pedal bike they are comfortable with.
Expert Demos
Our CV BMX community will share key safety best practices. In our advanced rider showcase, you'll see pumping, manuals and cornering techniques in action.
*Pedal bikes should have at least one working brake. No pegs or kickstands (we can zip tie kickstand if needed). Helmet, long-sleeve, pants and closed-toe shoe required. Contact us to learn about our free loaner bike and helmet program.
